Tell us a little bit about yourself, hobbies, occupation, etc…
I’m a Nurse, my position is an In-House Coordinator for organ donation at UCMC. I am engaged and our wedding is set for Sept 2021. I like being outdoors, I also like to read, love to snuggle with my furbaby Axel. I’m from Maine, I also like skiing.
What brought you to Centerville CrossFit and CrossFit in
One of my friends introduced me to CF. My first ever WOD was MURPH. I did half and thought it was horrible, but was so proud of myself when I finished. I actually came back after that. I joined CCF when I moved to Centerville with my boyfriend.
What goals have you achieved? What are your new ones?
My goals have been to just try to do better than the last time. New goals: MAINLY focus on technique verses the weight on the bar and all things gymnastic.
What is your favorite movement?
Cluster and OHS. I’m not moving much weight but just something about them that I love.
What is your least favorite movement?
BOX JUMPS. Several stitches and a Fx later. Now just a mental workout when in a workout.
What is your favorite quote or words to live by?
Start every day with a smile and look forward to what the day will bring you.
Do you have any advice to new members or someone thinking
Give yourself time to figure out the movements of CF. Technique over weight every single time. Weight will come once you get form.

Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. Amazing Coaches! Great atmosphere to be in and have around you.
